I found this pattern in a magazine. It was designed with beads on the ruffled edge but my teenage girls liked it better without.
It's a fun TV watching project.

Blue Stripes
I found a pound of Peaches and Cream cotton for $6. I had to buy such a great deal. Then I had to decide what to do with it (so much for not starting new projects). I found this bag pattern in my library and decided that would be perfect for the summer.
It took a couple of days and about 2/3 of the cotton.
It measures 16"w by 14"h and 6"deep.

Big problem for a crafter
I fell last week and caught myself with both hands resulting in two very sore, ace-bandaged wrists which makes it hard to do anything. I hope to get back to crafting in the next day or two. I guess I'm lucky I can do the two-index-finger typing although it is a little slower.
Be back soon.
Be back soon.

Pop Top Bracelet
I make these pop top bracelets using the pop tops from soda cans, obviously, and in this case, cotton fiber. They are eco-friendly, part recyclable, part renewable resource.
They are fairly easy to make and I hope to have many done in time for the craft fair I'm organizing in September.
I can also make them entirely recyclable using the same pop tops but plarn instead of cotton. I cut up plastic bags from the grocery store and crochet with that.
