Giant Orange Slippers

These slippers were fun and quick to make. I'm not sure who will wear theses bright orange, XL slippers but there they are.

They only took about a day to make.
The foot is about 11" long.

Seminoles or Gryffindor?

I used a Christmas stocking pattern, followed it sometimes, and came up with this. It was fun.
It is roughly 15" tall.
All it needs is a wire hook to hang it up.

Craft Fairs

I've got a couple of craft fairs to go to n the next couple of months so I'm trying to get ready. I think I'll concentrate on hats, scarves, and possibly prayer shawls. I might also start making cowls, I have had requests.

Patriots Quilt

This quilt was commissioned. I had to order the fabric online since the patriots are not local (not even close). The photo does not do the red fabric justice, it is actually a vibrant red color, not orangy.
I finished it this evening, then my cat took it for a test nap. She loves to check out my handywork.

On to my next project ......

I'm back!

I've been a little absent-minded lately. I apologize. I am back and will be making more regular posts.
I have been crafting, sewing, knittting, and crocheting, as usual.
I've been working on a "Patriots" quilt that was commissioned.
I have also been doing alterations on the High School's madrigal costumes. Now that the alterations are done, I will start making he peasant blouses and shirts they need.
I've also been working on a prayer shawl to be donated to a local church for their silent auction on Sunday.
I've even had time to squeeze in a hat.
I will post pictures of these projects over the next few days.
